Stanislaw Hansel is active in unusual compositional directions, having written works for keyboard, piano and voice, and string quartet with electronic keyboard, operas, environmental music, Micro Sonata for electronic keyboard and currently developing symphonic ideas. He is also active in the sound poetry field, where he is chiefly represented by his multi lingual work Children of Atlantis, published by Writers' Forum.

Other interests extend into the sphere of education, where one of his main concerns in recent years has been to encourage complete beginners to take up a keyboard interest.
